The scratches on the cymbal are likely caused by the drumstick or mallet hitting the surface of the cymbal repeatedly during play. Over time, this can lead to wear and tear on the cymbal, resulting in visible scratches. While some scratches are normal and do not affect the sound quality of the cymbal, deep scratches or cracks may impact the cymbal's resonance and should be monitored closely. The choice between living in the countryside or in a village depends on personal preferences and lifestyle.
